Culture Shock is home for new cross-cultural musical collaborations, initiated by musician Yanki Bicakci and intercultural connection and creativity space De Voorkamer. 

 

Derived from an idea of an artistic and social experiment where musicians from different cultural backgrounds meet each other for the first time and create together, Culture Shock became one of the most active facilitator of  musical productivity in a multi-cultural landscape .

 

 Each month, two new musicians from different cultural backgrounds are invited to create together for the first time, prepare a unique experience and bring it on stage.

Besides the monthly reguar events, we collaborate various venues and festivals to bring fresh and unique musical happennings to as much people as possible.
